From Wall Control to Remotes & Smart home options … How to choose what is best for your home.

Ceiling fans are a cost effective and efficient way to cool your home in the warmer months – controlling the speed, direction and lighting is an important consideration when choosing a ceiling fan for your home. New technology has enabled additional ways to control your fan.

Hunter Pacific have a range of fans featuring a variety of control options – From more traditional Wall Control and Pull-cord through to Remote Control and smart home options that allow the control of the fan from your phone or smart device – we have a model to suit.

Fan Speeds:

Having more fan speeds can mean greater flexibility – our control options feature models with from 3 to 9 fan speeds depending on the fan model.

Remote Control

The majority of Hunter Pacific DC fans come standard with a 9 speed remote – A remote is a convenient way of controlling all fan functions from the one device ( and usually have more fan speeds) The remote has control over, fan speed, light on/off and dimming (if fitted) , reversible function and for applicable models; light colour balance.

Separate AC Remotes

Hunter Pacific has 2 available remotes that are designed to work with the range of AC fans (depending on the model selected) These remotes are ideal to add convenience and functionality to the included control options – generally a 3 speed wall control.

Smart Home Options

For the majority of DC fans and with the installation of a smart module (sold separately) it is possible to control your fan via an app on your phone or smart device. Control functions such as on/off, 9 fan speeds, light and light dimming (if applicable) plus reversible function right from your device via an easy to use interface.

Wall Control

Hunter Pacific AC Fans come standard with a 3 speed wall control (Coolah has a 3 speed pull cord) which is a great option to keep controls simple and accessible (and because the controller is installed in the wall – it’s much harder to lose!) If your fan has a light, it means the light and fan controls are all in one spot with other light switches – simple and convenient.

DC Fans – Most DC Fans have an optional DC Wall control that also allows control of fan functions such as 9 Speeds with timing functions, reversible and works in tandem with Remote Control, Light on/off, CCT & Dimming Functions.
